On the 30th of March, on the occasion of the World Day of Theater and the International Month of Francophony, an international exhibition of posters dedicated to Moliere and his work was opened at the Mission Gallery.

It featured both exhibits from the International Triennial Fund of the stage poster in Sofia, as well as, new works created specifically for the occasion. Apart from the works of renowned placard masters from all over the world, works of very young authors could be seen there. All of them are united under the “Moliere Without Borders” project, as the idea is for him to continue developing over time, attracting more artists. Among the exhibits, most impressive were those of one of the most influential contemporary French postermakers - Prof. Michel Bouvier, and his graduates.

The organizers of the exhibition are the State Cultural Institute with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and the International Triennial of the Poster in Sofia. But special selectionists also contributed to it: Alexandra Gogova, Dimitar Traychev, Kapka Kaneva, Kostadin Otonov and Christophor Krastev.

The exhibition marks the start of the European tour of the collection. It is also part of the "Through the Eyes of the Poster" action, included in the Calendar of Cultural Events of Sofia Municipality in 2017.

The photos are provided by the International Triennial of the Poster in Sofia.

The exhibition was opened by Mrs. Lyudmila Dimitrova, Director of the State Cultural Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prof. BozhidarYonov, International Triennial of the Poster in Sofia.
