Cultural events
On 21st of March at the Central Military Club in Sofia a concert on the occasion of Novruz was held, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Bulgaria and the Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
On March 16th, in the University Library "St. Kliment Ohridski " a ceremony was held on the donation of Lebanese books.
On 7th of February the Sudanese Embassy in Sofia celebrated the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of the Sudan and the Republic of Bulgaria and the 61st anniversary of the independence of Sudan.
On 6 February at the Great Hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was held an exciting event. The exhibition "Nature and people in the mountains of Pakistan" was opened and the book "First Seven" by Boyan Petrov was presented.
That was the name of the literary evening organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Sofia on February 1st, at the Central Sofia Synagogue.
On December 20th in Sredets Hall of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of Algeria in Sofia organized a cultural evening to present the book of Dr. Vera Kitova, a Bulgarian writer and friend of Algeria.
