Cultural events

On March 18, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Central Military Club in Sofia, H.E. Dr. Nargiz Gurbanova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Bulgaria, invited distinguished guests and friends for the holiday Novruz, a symbol of the beginning of the new year.

The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in the Republic of Bulgaria, presented the Week of the Venezuelan Culture from the 14th to the 17th of March 2016,in the Russian Cultural and Informational Centre in Sofia.

The exhibition "Bulgarian literature in Serbia during the 21st Century" was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Association of the Writers of Sofia. Its opening was on the 2nd of March at the Serbian Embassy in the presence of authors, publishers and journalists from both sides.

On the 10th of February H. Е. Mrs. Latifa Akharbash, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bulgaria, held a dinner in her residence on the occasion of the participation of Morocco in the International Tourism Fair VACATION/SPA EXPO, that took place from the 11th to the 13th of February at Inter Expo Center - Sofia.

For the 67th time India commemorated the Day of the Republic (1950). On this occasion, on the 26th of January, the country's embassy here, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the Indology Foundation "East - West" opened the photographic exhibition "Religions in India" in Sofia.

From the 30th of November to the 13th of December 2015 for the second time the Days of Morocco in Bulgaria were held.
