From 4 to 20 February 2015 a charity exhibition of Hon. Mr. Stavros Avgustidis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus in Bulgaria and the famous Bulgarian artist Nikolay Rusev was presented in the Forum Gallery,  93 A Vasil Levski boulevard in Sofia.

It was held under the patronage of the Mayor of Sofia - Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, and is part of the cultural events initiated by the Cypriot embassy and Art4Charity.
Culture unites the differences and unites nations as well. This was proved by the two artists: one a career diplomat, the other a professional painter; one from Cyprus, the other from Bulgaria. Representatives of different cultures, the artists have put  in their paintings feelings and emotions, colours and techniques that influence strongly and show that with all the diversity of Europe we, however, are close in spirit. Their works inspire our belief that art can ennoble and purify us. They make us dream, make us better and more generous.
The funds from the exhibition will be given to UNICEF for various programs of the organization in Bulgaria.
