On the 28^th of September in the House of Europe in Sofia, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Bulgaria, in partnership with the Bulgarian Cultural Foundation "199", organized a conference on the theme of "Museums of Azerbaijan".

It went under the motto "The Museum - an attractive site for cultural tourism". The event was dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between our countries and under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Guests at the conference were Ms. Shirin Melikova, Director of the Azerbaijan Museum of Carpet, the first such specialized museum in the world, located in Baku, and Dr. Alla Bairamova, Director of the State Museum of Music Culture. They presented to the participants the 50-year-old experience of these institutions in protecting and promoting the traditions and rich cultural heritage of their country.
