On the occasion of the conclusion of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU,
the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Embassy of the French Republic in Sofia with the cooperation of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria presented the exhibition "Europe of the Cartoonists". It was opened on 20 June in the House of Europe in the presence of numerous guests.
The exhibition includes works by some of the most talented contemporary cartoonists, who have reflected topical political events related to the EU and the world. The Bulgarian political caricature is represented by Alla and Chavdar Georgievi, Hristo Komarnitski and Chavdar Nikolov. And because caricatures often speak better than words, just go and have a look.

On them: the head of the press service of the Embassy of the French Republic - Ms. Diane Roeser, and the head of the press department of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany - Mr. Markus Haas, opened the exhibition. Ambassadors, diplomats, journalists, cultural figures were among the guests of the event.
