May 2, 3 and 4. Easter.

Official holiday. On the day of the resurrection all Christians open their hearts to one-another with the hope for being happy and blessed. Easter is celebrated for three days which are full of joy: the family gathers together, friends great each-other. Traditionally in each home eggs are painted and ritual Easter cake is prepared. 

Eggs from the exhibition "Easter in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia" of the Regional Ethnographic Museum - Plovdiv and the Association "Czechs, Slovaks and Friends - Plovdiv", painted with the Ichtiman technique for writing eggs.
