On the 22^nd of March, the Cultural Representation of Iran organized a celebration for the coming of spring and the Iranian New Year - Nowruz.

It was held in the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iranians living in Bulgaria, Bulgarian journalists and cultural figures were invited to it. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Angel Orbetsov, Director of "Asia, Australia and Oceania" Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The guests were greeted by Mr. Mohammad Ali Kiani, Cultural Counselor at the Embassy and Mr. Hassan Doutaghi Chargé d'Affaires a.i. at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Anchorman of the event was the Iranian poet Nabilah Masumi, who read his poems for Nowruz.

The specially invited for the evening Iranian folklore group "Ava" gave a short concert.

All guests enjoyed the special dinner for Nowruz.
