On 26 January in Kvadrat 500 the National Gallery presented for the first time its entire collection of 26 works by artists from Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia who, 110 years ago, participated in the Sofia Exhibition of the Lada Society of South Slavic Artists.

In the villages of the region of Pernik it is also called Surova. There, from time immemorial - on 13 and 14 January masquerade games are held to celebrate the New Year according to the old calendar.

On November 25 in Bulgaria Concert Hall, a spiritual concert marking 1100 years of the Assumption of St. Kliment Ohridski, the Miracle Worker took place.

In autumn the harvest is already gathered, winter supplies are provided and naturally the holidays of the Bulgarians become more frequent. In November they are a lot: Arhangelovden (Michaelmas), Holy Martyr Ekaterina, St. Kliment Ohridski, Andreevden (St. Andrew’s Day), Blessed Virgin day – the day of the orthodox Christian youth and family...

From the 30th of September to the 2nd of October the fourteenth international competition for young pop singers "Silver Yantra" was held in Veliko Tarnovo.
