On the 12th of May, the third "Hats Parade" took place in the heart of the capital.

Rotaract club Sofia - Vitosha celebtared its 16 birthday on 15th March in Marinela Hotel. In the same week Rotaract Bulgaria turned 50.
On the 10th of February 1918, in Sofia, the company of Angel Sladkarov started the professional operetta in Bulgaria with the premiere of "Marquis Bonelli" by Dellinger.
The 10th edition of the film festival from the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa took place from the 12th to the 28th of January.
On the 10th of January, for the third consecutive year, the Central Military Club in Sofia held the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award ceremony- Bulgaria.
