The Institute celebrated its third birthday on 30 November. The cocktail organized on this occasion was attended by cultural figures, journalists, students and teachers of Portuguese, friends.

 Francisco Nazareth head of Camões Sófia and lecturer on Portuguese language and culture at Sofia University and Veliko Tarnovo University, warmly welcomed the guests and spontaneously and sincerely said: "For some Portuguese language is a necessity, for others - passion. But one thing is certain - Portuguese is an international language. A language in which there are many other languages - to paraphrase the Nobel laureate Saramago. A language of culture, trade and economy. Our function here is to connect the Portuguese language and Bulgaria. "

The guests at the festive evening enjoyed the photographs from the exhibition "Portuguese paths" of  Prof. Dr. Marin Paunov and the wonderful performances of the Portuguese musician Flávio Torres.
