To mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Bulgaria, a Festival of India was held,

during which the Bulgarian audience enjoyed the exquisite performances of the Indian dance troupe led by Ms. Arupa Lahiry.

The dances captured the hearts of the residents and guests of Burgas, Varna, and Sofia from August 12 to 16, 2024. Enchanted, the audience gave strong applause to the graceful performance of the Bharatnatyam dance by Ms. Arupa Lahiry and her co-performers, Ms. Gargi Byabarta, Ms. Deedhita Singha, Ms. Mayuri Shom, Ms. Sraddhasree Brahmo, Ms. Sangita Banerjee, Mr. Vinay Tiwari.

The concerts were organized with the support of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the East-West Indological Foundation, and the India Association.
