On the 1st of October, the third Parisian ball took place at Hotel Marinela Sofia. It passed under the patronage of Their Majesties King Simeon II and Queen Margarita.

Its purpose was charity - raising funds for the National School of Dance Arts (NSDA).

Over 10,000 BGN were collected from the raffle and the auction that were held during the ball and went directly into the budget of the school. In such a way the attending representatives of the cultural elite and the business encouraged the young art talents. The auction was led by our compatriot and successful businessman from Paris, Mr. Plamen Rusev. From all objects on the auction the biggest interest caused the silver bowl of "Christofle" with the monogram and the crown of King Ferdinand, donated to the charity evening from His Majesty King Simeon II, which was bought for 3600 BGN.

Honoured guests at the ball were: Count Denis de Kergorlay, president of the Cercle de l'Union Interalliée and "Europa Nostra", Mr. Jean-Marie Demange, head of the Regional Economic Office at the Embassy of the French Republic in our country and his wife, Ross-Ellen and Mrs. Beatrice Garnier-Susanna.

All attendees enjoyed a special program performed by the students of the National School of Dance Arts (NSDA). Later they themselves danced to the sounds of an orchestra. They appreciated the champagne "Moet&Chandon", the wine from the "Minkov Brothers" cellar and the six-course French menu.
