On the 21st of October the Serbian-Bulgarian Friendship Association /the city of Novi Sad, Serbia and the city of Sofia, Bulgaria/ presented the almanac "Poetry Competition - Fall 2016" at the Serbian Embassy in Sofia.

The book is the fourth in line of its kind and is the result of a poetry competition. This time the competition was a total record. It was attended by over 120 participants from 16 countries and three continents! Over 40 poets form Bulgaria only took part in the competition! Even children were involved- two from Serbia and two from Bulgaria. It is not surprising that the organizers think that from next year the competitions should be two - for adults and for children. The friendly evening passed in a warm ambience. The president of the Serbian-Bulgarian friendship Association Mr. Zoran Bajić Baja handed out diplomas to the winners, who read their poems included in the almanac.

The paintings of the artist Milena Velcheva which were set out in the lobby of the embassy contributed to the good mood as well as the cappella performances of folk songs by one of the poets and the dances of the dance ensemble from the town of Nis.
