On the 30th of June in the „Lumiere“ cinema, in the National Palace of Culture, a concert was held, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea
in cooperation with the World Culture Networks GmbH. The „Korean Music on Screen“ contained music from films, TV dramas and „Arirang“. The works were performed by the Classic FM Orchestra under the conduction of the famous Korean composer and pianist - Jisoo LEE.
Jisoo LEE is one of the leading names in the world in composing film music. He is credited for the orchestration and the compilation of the entire program of the concert. Of particular interest to the audience was a series of musical works based on „Arirang“. It represented a mix of motifs from Korean folk tradition and contemporary Western music. Jisoo LEE has created a truly unique sound harmony.
