The Embassy of Algeria in Sofia celebrated the 56^th anniversary of the events of 11 December 1960.

On that occasion on December 22^nd  in the residence of H.E. Ms. Latifa Benazza, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria was organised an official celebration. 

A documentary on the demonstrations of the Algerian people during this historic day was projected - manifestation of the struggle of the Algerian people for independence.

The commemoration was attended by Ambassadors, politicians, representatives of the Bulgarian ministries, artists, friends of Algeria, members of the Algerian community in Bulgaria.
